“Performance of Processes”
We are very familiar with ARIS BPM as the tool to model and document our business processes. The business processes are discussed and analyzed in workshops with all relevant stakeholders. The information is translated with the ARIS BPM tool into models and relations. The full integration of different dimensions as architecture, processes, data, service, controls and performance indicators gives us the advantage to analyze quickly any changes in the processes and we can use it to build software to run our processes.
One of the key aspects of a process is its overall performance. How well is the process executed, does the process comply with the definition, how efficient is the process, does it fulfill its ‘demanded’ targets. Although we have defined the performance indicators with ARIS BPM, it still remains to be static information.
To be able to improve processes you will need to measure the performance of these processes. ARIS Process Performance Management (PPM) belongs to the product suite of Software AG. With this tool the performance indicators as defined can be measured and analyzed on an almost ‘real time’ basis. It enables companies to start to optimize their processes, to check what was designed also works in reality. It is the next step in your maturity journey of BPM.
In this theme session two companies, Heineken and DSM, will inform you why they are using ARIS PPM, how it fits in their BI-strategy, what the results have been so far and the added value for the business operations. The use of ARIS PPM demands a strategy, an organization and an implementation roadmap. Next to the presented used cases, insights will be given on what is needed to implement enterprise performance management.
